Guidelines to prevent your level from being removed because of violating LittleBigPlanet’s EULA

EULA or End User License Agreement may not be a familiar term for many gamers. Even those who know the term, mostly have never bothered reading the particular EULAs for particular games or even firmware updates, ’cause so far, you could mostly avoid violating it by using your common sense! (i.e. not using inappropriate language on microphone while playing online, etc.) BUT due to the LittleBigPlanet’s unique nature, this term comes to a new level of importance, specially for those who like to create and share.(and of course don’t like to waste hours of work.)

After several reports by some frustrated LittleBigPlanet level creators at’s LBP forum complaining about their levels being removed because of violating EULA which wasn’t clear to them, Sam_protagonist (LittleBigPlanet Community Manager), put together a simple and general guidelines to inform the level creators of the things NOT to create and share to avoid such issues.

Checkout the original post at PlayStation Forums. Here is the snippet:

And for those who have their level removed and may have been wondering why, here is another part of the post above:

For the time being, if you believe your level has been moderated and you don’t know why please contact me via private message including the level title and your PSN ID and I’ll investigate

And here is Sam’s profile page, in case you need to contact him regarding your level :)
