LittleBigPlanet’s story mode is just AWESOME!

Last year, when I heard about a game called LittleBigPlanet which lets you build your own levels, I started counting days. I couldn’t wait for this game to come out and I start making my levels! As you may be aware of, from what you’ve read in this blog, I kept finding and watching anything that could give me a new idea for making a level. When I got my beta code, I spent most of my time getting myself more familiar with the tools and materials in create mode and created some levels but didn’t take it so seriousely because of the limitations we had in beta and because at first the levels created in beta was not supposed to be carried over. After the beta ended, again I just could hardly wait for the release date.

Long story short, I got my copy of the game on Oct. 24th so it has been 6 days and I spent almost 4 hours a day on the game BUT I still haven’t created even a single shape in LittleBigPlanet!

The story mode was just too awesome to give me ANY time to spend on creating levels! I’m not even so advanced in it and I just try to resolve all the puzzles I could, even if they are optional. And yes, I’ve cheated a couple of times whenever I got stuck for more than 2 hours and looked it up in the LittleBigPlanet Signature Series Guide which was a great help.

So far I’ve finished

  • The Gardens
  • The Savannah
  • The Wedding
  • The Canyons
  • The Metropolis
  • The Islands
  • The Temples

So the only one remaining is The Wilderness (I just realized that and it’s so unfortunate!)

Anyways, if you haven’t taken the story mode seriously, take my word and do it! After finishing “The Gardens” things get better and better and actually it gets so addicting so do it at your own risk! :)

LittleBigPlanet Rocks!

Yet Another Sackboy!
