LittleBigPlanet beta access for Japan
If you recall, to get a chance to participate in PS3 Home you needed to download a theme available in PS3 online store. To choose between millions of interested fans, LittleBigPlanet has also taken the same approach, at least for Japan.
Right now, there is a new theme available in Japanese PSN store which acts as your beta application and gives you a chance to participate in LBP beta. According to the news on PS3fanboy, beta applications will be accepted from September 17th to September 23rd and the beta test starts September 29th and ends October 12th.
Apparently, SCEE is looking for a total of 60,000 beta users, 20,000 from Japan, 20,000 from Europe and 20,000 from North America.
Hopefully we’ll hear the details about how north America and Europe can get in the beta testers list, soon.

I CAN’T WAIT FOR LBP !!!! I hope i get picked for the beta ! I’m gunna be searching the internet every day for news on the european beta. PLEASE MEDIA MOLUCULE PICK ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

I really want this beta coden invite thing, WHATEVER it is, im in Canada and im looking for this theme everywhere! i cant find it its Sept 18 right now 10:00pm.

You can’t find it because it is only available for Japanese PSN IDs! The beta details for Europe and North America are not announced yet. Don’t worry! We’re in the same boat
and we’ll keep here updated if we hear anything about it.
