SCEE won three of the Leipzig 2008 “Best of GC” awards
Carrying off Best PS3 game, Best PSP game and Best Innovation awards, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe left the Leipzig’s 2008 Games Convention building.
This happened while there were more than 120 products entered in total and the winning products were:
Of Course! LittleBigPlanet - Best PS3 Game!
Are you surprised?! I don’t think so 
The little Sackboy did a great job! Showing off his skills, solving challenging puzzles and modifying and presenting his awesome planet! Congratulations to MM, SCEE, Sackboy and the lovely Sackgirl
“It adds both a social and a creative element to the console world: the gamer community becomes the developer community. LittleBigPlanet comes with a convincingly vivid backdrop and almost unlimited possibilities with entertaining level structure.” The jury said.
The other two award winning products were “Resistance: Retribution” and “PlayTV” as the Best PSP game and Best Innovation.

As there were too few entrants, no award was made in Best PS2 game category.
